I was raised in Washington, DC, and the Los Angeles area. My parents are Filipino, and my younger brother is also adopted. We were a very social family, with an extensive network of friends with kids. Today I enjoy organizing parties, social events and weekend trips with friends. I can't wait to plan kid-oriented events in the future!

I have an adventurous spirit and like doing new things, especially involving travel. I enjoy the arts and culture, having grown up taking music and dance lessons. I graduated from the University of Southern California. The highlight of college was participating in the Semester at Sea program, taking classes aboard a ship that sailed around the world, visiting 11 developing countries. I visited a commune in China, witnessed staggering poverty in India alongside the beautiful Taj Mahal, and rode a camel past the Pyramids in Egypt. I've now been to over 50 countries, and have a true appreciation for other peoples and cultures.

Claire loved the cowgirl
outfit I made for her!

Work brought me to San Francisco, where I currently design and manage software projects. Once the baby arrives, I plan to take several months off, then adjust my schedule so that parenting can be my top priority. I enjoy being Claire's stepmom, everything from sewing Halloween costumes to playing hide-and-seek. But I have so much more love to give!
